Torque wrench calibration
Need your torque wrenches checked? Send the wrench type, make, model and torque range, and we'll confirm the service and send a quote.

Tell us about the equipment
We calibrate torque wrenches used across workshops, fabrication and maintenance, from small-range tools through to larger wrenches used on structural and mechanical joints. Send the range marked on each wrench, the units, the make and model, and how many tools need checking. One wrench or a full set, we'll confirm the work before you book.
What your report includes
Each wrench gets a NATA-traceable report that identifies it by make, model and serial or equipment number. It records the torque points checked, the reference values and the readings recorded, along with the date of the work.
If your customer or contract asks for a particular report, send us the wording before booking.
Plan the job
Include the location and the date you need the work done. Tell us whether the tools can be sent to us or need to be checked at your site.
Before you book
Calibration is not the same as repair. If you think a wrench is damaged or needs adjustment, mention it when you ask for a quote and we'll discuss the options.
Common questions
Why calibrate a torque wrench?
Torque wrenches drift with use, drops and storage. An out-of-calibration wrench can under- or over-tighten critical joints, so calibration confirms it’s still applying the torque it reads.
How often should a torque wrench be calibrated?
Commonly every 12 months, or sooner if it’s used heavily, dropped or your quality system asks for it. ISO 6789 suggests around 5,000 cycles or 12 months, whichever comes first.
What types of torque wrench do you calibrate?
Click-type and other workshop torque wrenches across a wide range of sizes. Send the make, model and range and we’ll confirm.
What should I store my click-type wrench at?
Wind it back to its lowest setting (not below) before storing. Leaving it set under load can affect accuracy.
Can you repair a wrench that fails?
Tell us if a wrench is damaged or reading out. We’ll record the results and discuss the options with you.
