Common questions
Who carries out the inspections?
Qualified technicians and engineers, matched to the type of inspection.
How often should racking be inspected?
AS 4084 recommends a competent person inspects racking at least every 12 months, alongside your own regular checks. Your risk assessment may call for more frequent checks.
What standards do you inspect to?
It depends on the job: for example AS/NZS 2312 for coatings and AS 4991 and AS 1418 for lifting equipment. Tell us the standard in your contract and we’ll confirm.
Do I get photos in the report?
Yes. Findings are recorded with photos and item numbers so you can find each issue on site.
