Certificates and standards
Your customer may ask for a specific certificate or report. Send us that requirement before booking so we can confirm what's available for your equipment.

NATA-traceable calibration
All PCC calibrations are NATA-traceable. We calibrate your equipment against reference equipment that has itself been calibrated by a NATA-accredited laboratory, so your results trace back to recognised national measurement standards.
If your customer specifically requires calibration by a NATA-accredited laboratory, send us the exact wording before booking. We'll confirm the options for your equipment before you agree to the work.
The documents you receive
Your quote confirms which document is included for each item.
Calibration report
Identifies the instrument and records the calibration results against NATA-traceable reference equipment.
Inspection report
Describes the item or area inspected, the checks completed and the findings.
Electrical test record
Identifies the items tested and records their results.

How to read your report
- Equipment — the make, model and serial or equipment number, so you can match the report to the item.
- Results — the test points and the readings recorded.
- Date and reference — the report number and date help you find the record again.
- Service details — the work performed and any limits that apply.
Standards our work supports
- ISO 9001 — quality management systems.
- ISO 3834 — quality requirements for fusion welding.
- AS/NZS 1554 — structural steel welding.
- AS/NZS 5131 — structural steelwork fabrication and erection.
- ISO/IEC 17025 — the standard NATA uses to accredit calibration laboratories, and the basis of the traceability chain behind our calibrations.
- AS/NZS 3760 — in-service safety inspection and testing of electrical equipment.
Common questions
Is PCC NATA-accredited?
Our calibrations are NATA-traceable, not NATA-accredited. Our reference equipment is calibrated by NATA-accredited laboratories, so your results trace back to national standards. If you need accredited calibration, tell us before booking.
Will a NATA-traceable report satisfy my auditor?
In many cases, yes — ISO 9001, ISO 3834 and AS/NZS 5131 quality systems generally need equipment calibrated against traceable standards. Check the wording in your contract or quality system and send it to us if you’re unsure.
Can you send a sample report?
Ask us when you request a quote and we can talk you through what the report includes for your equipment.
Unsure what your customer means?
Send the wording from the contract or email. We'll tell you which service and documents fit.
